Coarse Stoneware

Coarse stoneware lends its true nature to objects \u2013 it confers a tactile aspect making it look like it has just been extracted out of the ground and giving the object a streamlined, minimalist appearance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fired in a reducing atmosphere to 1280\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glazed Stoneware<\/span><\/h2>\n

A glaze envelops, swathes and enhances the clay object with pictorial or graphic designs applied with brushes, by immersion of the object in the liquid glaze or by pouring it over the item.\u00a0 Firing takes place either in an oxydising or a reducing atmosphere at 1280\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n
